Vera Mikhailovna Tambovtseva graduated from Lenin Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. She has 15 years of teaching experience across various educational institutions in Moscow, Lipetsk, and Washington, D.C. In Moscow, she worked at a Children's Creativity Center and later served as academic coordinator at a lyceum; in Lipetsk, she worked as a school teacher and a kindergarten educator; and in Washington, D.C., she has taught at a center for young children.
"To me, this profession is a chance to live constantly in the world of childhood, fairy tales, and imagination. Working with preschoolers, I never stop being amazed by how different, unpredictable, interesting, funny, and remarkably clever they are — how their reasoning, conclusions, and actions can pose a real challenge to any adult. What matters most to me is nurturing and building a child's interest in learning, and never letting their desire to learn fade. That's why I use a variety of teaching methods and techniques in my lessons — play especially, since play is the primary activity of preschoolers, their whole world.
