Russian School Erudite

1. Tuition is paid by parents for the current month, for a semester, or for the full year in advance. Payment is accepted during the first two weeks of the month.

2. Payment can be made by check or in cash. Checks should be made out to Russian School Erudite or Erudite Russian Language and Cultural Center Inc., noting the student's first and last name. Payment is made during class time to the assistant director for financial affairs, Larisa K. Ortunio, or checks can be mailed to Russian School Erudite, 4104 Chippendale Ct., Rockville, MD 20853.

3. The annual registration or re-registration fee, and the one-time general expenses fee (textbooks, workbooks, celebrations, organizational costs, etc.), are non-refundable, except when a student attended no classes at all. For students enrolling mid-year, the one-time general expenses fee is recalculated accordingly.

4. To receive a credit for missed class days, notify the school administration in advance at info@russianerudite.com. Credits are given in these cases:

• an extended absence due to illness (tuition for the first missed day is not refunded)

• a planned long-term departure

5. The school issues textbooks to each student for use during the year. Textbooks must be returned in good condition at year's end. A $40 fee applies per copy that is lost or damaged and not returned. Workbooks remain with students.

6. Low-income families, and families where a parent has lost their job, may qualify for a temporary tuition discount upon submitting supporting documentation.

7. No discount applies to elective classes (studios and clubs).
