Olga Melikhova
Lead Teacher, Kindergarten

Olga Alexandrovna Melikhova is a specialist with a higher education degree and extensive experience working with preschool-age children.
"It's precisely in early childhood and the preschool years that the foundations of language are laid. This is the first stage of a bilingual child's long journey toward preserving their native language. At this age, it's essential to create a comfortable environment, give the child a good start, and not miss this window of development.
I approach my work with children with a great sense of responsibility, because it's important not only to choose the right teaching materials, but also to genuinely engage the children's interest. With the little ones, we don't just learn to read and write — we also work on speech development, explore Russian folklore, and learn about the world around us. My program includes educational and role-play games, arts and crafts, dancing, singing, and putting on short theatrical skits.
It's no secret that language conflicts can arise from time to time in any bilingual environment; even so, I sincerely believe that with the right approach to teaching, they can be overcome."
