Olga Kalinina
Elementary School Teacher

Olga Vasilyevna Kalinina graduated in 2001 from Moscow State Pedagogical University (MSPU, named after Lenin), Department of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology. She works as a teacher in preschool programs in Virginia and Maryland.
"I believe a teacher's job isn't just to teach — it's to engage, to build interest and respect for the subject. By drawing on both classic and modern teaching methods, I try to capture each child's interest and find the right individual approach for them.
One of the main goals of my work is to help each student see the results of their own progress from our lessons together, and to feel more confident tackling challenging assignments, whether in class or at home.
I'm grateful for the chance to pass on knowledge, to watch children grow intellectually, and to spend time with them. I pay close attention to how I structure and run each lesson, making sure it's engaging and full of discovery. I'm doing what I love!"
