Olga Bauer

Olga Alexandrovna Bauer has more than 15 years of experience teaching Russian, English, and French. She graduated in 2004 from Polotsk State University (Department of History and Philology, English and French languages). She has taught elementary, middle, and high school students at the Polotsk State Gymnasium for Advanced Foreign Language Study, as well as at other secondary schools and children's summer camps. Since 2018, she has taught French at the Alliance Française in Washington, D.C.

I love working with children because they're sincere, genuine, unselfish, and funny. To me, what matters most is instilling a love for the Russian language, culture, and literature, inspiring students to seek out new knowledge, and helping them learn to express their thoughts clearly. In learning any language, the key task is developing speech and the ability to put it to practical use. Beyond simply conveying knowledge during a lesson, I value a friendly atmosphere, creativity, humor, and an individual approach to each student."
