Elena Makarevich

Teacher of Mathematics and Computer Science

Elena Vasilyevna Makarevich graduated from the Department of Mathematics at Far Eastern State University. She worked in Moscow as a computer science teacher for grades 5–9. At "Erudite," she started out as a teaching assistant, and since 2020 has taught the "Lego Robotics" club (Level 1) as well as mathematics for students ages 7–8.

"I love sports and encourage an active lifestyle among my students. I regularly compete in Maryland state long-distance running competitions. I believe that self-discipline and involvement in sports inevitably build the kind of strong character every young person needs to succeed in the future. I think my personal motto could be summed up as: 'Movement is life."
