Anna Shutikova

Anna Alexandrovna Shutikova graduated with honors in 2010 from Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, Saint Petersburg, with a degree in Teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures (English and Japanese). She taught at Petrovsky College and served as a homeroom teacher there. She also completed general musical training in accordion.

After moving to the United States, she spent several years giving private Russian lessons and leading Russian storytime sessions at a local library. For the past five years, she has worked as an assistant in preschool and school settings. She completes ongoing professional development training each year through the Maryland State Department of Education. She has more than ten years of teaching experience.
